airhead | a stupid person | My sister's boyfriend is an airhead. |
babe | girl | Look at the babe next to that tree over there. |
barf | vomit | He had to barf because he drank too much alcohol. |
bummer | bad experience | My trip to New York was a bummer. |
freebie | free | The pillow was a freebie. |
no biggie | not important | He could not finish his homework but it is no biggie. |
totally | completely | That car is totally awesome. |
uptight | anxious | Try not to be uptight about your new job |
Slangs are interesting. I found one slang, whereby 'uncle' means you quit. It is funny and hard because most slang does't really have any connection with the meaning, regardless the sound, pronunciation or the spelling.
